Maybe if you cast your memory back to Cyclone Alfred and repeat some of the things that were said then you'd be fair dinkum
I'd believe it's 1 year ago but the fact that we're closer to 2 years since that event and we're all still here is astonishing
Less than a month until the 2 year anniversary of my ownership
^ The Dolphins’ naming scheme success is not only evident through their ability to compete with the Brisbane Broncos for market share, but also with the rest of the competition. As seen by Figure 1, The Dolphins are the fourth most supported club in memberships. This shows that their naming scheme, which is not city-exclusive, has been able to capture the hearts of fans across Queensland. This has also pulled in significant revenue for the club, building towards a financially successful future. The Dolphins stadium plan has further developed the club into one of the fastest growing clubs in the competition. The Dolphins selected Lang Park as their primary home venue, allowing 52,000 people to celebrate their club. Figure 2 shows that they are heavily competing with Broncos, who have the highest average crowd figures in the NRL. Figure 2 also shows that The Dolphins have beaten the Titans and the Cowboys in average crowd figures, showing that their non-exclusive naming scheme has invited fans to home games. They have posed high crows averages, whilst also playing 3 home games a year at their Queensland Cup ground, Dolphin Oval. The
10,000-seat stadium, located in Redcliffe, has allowed the 75-year history of the club to be preserved, even after the club was elevated into the NRL. This allows fans to feel a sense of connection with the long history of the club at their boutique stadium. Through their non-exclusive naming scheme, The Dolphins have posed sky-high memberships and crowd figures, whilst providing fans a sense of connection to the long history of the club.
